m.e.c. (middle east consulting & trading GmbH) was established in 2003 by Mr. Peter Meyer who is looking back on many years of experience in the B2B export and trading business. The company is now second-generation family-owned after his daughter Kerstin and son-in-law René joined m.e.c. in early 2014. Both Kerstin and René came from a business background and brought several years of experience with them.
Merging with DESTEC (established in 1998) took effect on January 1st in 2013 to consolidate both companies for a stronger positioning in the market and to benefit from synergies of similar activities.
Our customers range from trading companies and ship owners to industrial enterprises and the Navy. We perform business in the middle east, southeast Asia, southern Africa, Canada and Europe.
